Lindsey Hill is a mixed-use urban village, the centerpiece of which is a publicly available park space that will be located on the property at the intersection of Hutchison and Moore Streets.
Lindsey Hill will be primarily residential in use, character, and design.  The single largest component of the project will be apartment homes--a mixture of rental apartments and for sale condos.  No student housing will be included.  Lindsey Hill also will include a limited amount of retail space and, under special circumstances, office space.
As originally designed, Lindsey Hill was going to include a luxury boutique hotel and no for sale condo units.  However, after soliciting feedback from many community members, the development team removed the hotel element in favor of condos that will be available for sale.  Also at the community's request, the total amount of retail space has been substantially reduced.

Why Housing?
Vision San Marcos - the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos - describes a critical need for more housing opportunities, particularly in the Downtown area.  Lindsey Hill seeks to provide that opportunity, both with for rent and for sale housing.

Why Retail?
We've heard from many the need for additional, high-quality dining opportunities in San Marcos.  Lindsey Hill's retail space will focus on adding food businesses and other valuable services to the neighborhood.
